The Cookhouse Restaurant

Uniquely retro décor and outstanding service offer diners a comfortable relaxed setting for the whole family. We serve delicious, wholesome Australian fare 7 days a week, lunch and dinner. With a new menu to start mid February.

The Cookhouse menu provides plenty of variety from traditional fare to more exotic selections including vegetarian options. Try one of the many dishes on offer such as the grazier steaks served to you liking or the ever popular Brooklands taste plate. If all this isn’t enough be tempted by the scrumptious cakes and desserts on offer. Or just sit back and enjoy a quality coffee to wrap up a fine meal.

The Cookhouse has developed an enviable selection of popular specials available each week. Try our weekly specials Monday's barramundi, Tueday's pizza and pasta, Wednesday's schnitzel and Thursday's rump steak all priced at $14.90. Back Shed Bar

Need some Back Shed therapy? Join the crew in the Back Shed at Brooklands – adjacent to the Cookhouse. An awesome place to socialise, kick back and enjoy a drink with friends, play a game of pool, watch major sporting events screened live on the BIG in-house TV screens, take advantage of the onsite TAB betting facilities or just sit back and relax to the sound of the jukebox.

Functions at Brooklands

Brooklands is the perfect venue for your function – large or small. We can cater for corporate and private functions for groups between 20 and 200 people. Whether you are planning a three course sit down dinner, an cocktail party, a corporate or fundraising event, Brooklands is the venue for you.

Our retro style décor is reminiscent of the fifties and provides a vibrant yet cosy environment. Silver mesh blinds control the influx of natural light into the restaurant throughout the day via large windows situated on two sides of the building. At dusk the internal lighting is dimmed and temperature adjusted to encourage an intimate dining mood. Patrons can converse easily thanks to the clever acoustic features which modulate and soften background sounds.
