Etro

Etro is a fantastic spot tucked away on beautiful King Street. With a focus on service and quality, French chef and owner Patrick Panier and his team have created a great destination for anything from a coffee, a snack or a complete meal. Rustic, elegant, simple and sophisticated, the dishes are a delight to the eye as well as the palate in the bistro. With the introduction of Etro Bar upstairs there is now a new function location in the city.

Etro Bistro 

Etro Bistro is one of Perth's most popular CBD eateries. Catering to the stylish business set, owners Patrick and Emma have created a light, bright daytime cafe with gorgeous French-inspired dishes available for breakfast and lunch seven days.

Drop in and enjoy the Chef's special of the day (usually today's risotto or pasta) with a regular tea or coffee for only $20, available each day from 11.30am.

    Set to become a premier venue for functions, Etro Bar is a chic space in the heart of the city - perfect for a variety of special occasions. With a team of experienced events staff, a beautiful location and an enticing selection of food options, Etro Bar is sure to impress your guests.

    Group Special 

    Book a table for a group of 6 or more and receive a free bottle of wine of the month or two large bottles of sparkling water with your meals.

    Lunch on the Roof 

    Etro are now serving lunch on the roof every Friday. Enjoy a fabulous meal from the Bistro a la carte menu and sit above the hustle and bustle of the CBD overlooking beautiful King Street.

    Bookings 

    Etro accepts bookings for breakfast, lunch and Friday dinner. Special group bookings can be accommodated in the evenings upon request (min 25 people).

    Specialty Cakes 

    Etro Bar offers a wide varity of personalised cakes and sweet treats, ordered from our supplier for your special occasion. All cakes are made to order and require 5 working days notice.

    Meet the Team 

    Patrick Panier
    Patrick’s love for cooking and focus on using quality ingredients commenced growing up around the village markets of the south-west of France and spending time in his grandmother’s kitchen. Patrick undertook an apprenticeship in a traditional Auberge in the South of France. His versatility has evolved by working in different places around the world - bringing influences from Europe, Tunisia – North Africa, Bora Bora in French Polynesia, Vanuatu, the East Coast of Australia and the Vineyards of the South West. Patrick offers a fusion of tastes with rustic elegance and works with the best ingredients to make each dish uncomplicated, yet a colour and flavour experience. The French influence on the bistro menus has a subtle presence.

    Emma Panier
    Emma grew up in an agricultural farming community in Western Victoria, heading to Sydney to study upon finishing school. From early on Emma was passionate about looking after peoples’ needs and travelling was always high on the agenda. After studiing hotel management, she completed a corporate traineeship with an international hotel chain and studied human resources. After meeting Patrick Panier they have continued to travel and work in hospitality and human resources. Six years ago Patrick and Emma took up the challenge of opening their own venue and have had a couple of kids along the way!

    Functions at Etro Bar – Level 1  

    Etro Bar, Level 1 49 King Street is operates with a stunning roof top terrace. This addition to Etro allows comfort from the elements, whilst still maintaining the beautiful alfresco atmosphere.
    Etro Bar offers an exclusive venue available for private functions, meetings, get togethers and special events. A range of menus are available, allowing you to create a truly personalised occasion. Due to the intimate nature of Etro Bar, they can also cater for customised and themed events.

    Etro Bar 

    The intimate Etro Bar caters exclusively for private functions of either corporate or social nature. With their new rooftop renovations this will be one of the hottest and most sought after functions spaces in the city.
    This unique venue offers a fully licensed bar and a range of rustic and elegant menus from canapés to lunch and BBQ buffets. All food is made in house by Patrick Panier and his team. The location of this new function venue in historic King Street stands it apart and will make your guests feel extra special.
    Groups of up to 50 can be catered for with Patrick offering menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktail functions. Book early for the Christmas season. For all booking enquiries, please call the function co-ordinator on 0449 630945.

    High Tea 

    Ever thought of hosting High Tea for your family and friends for a special celebration? High Tea is a perfect way to celebrate a hens day, baby shower, birthday or anniversary.

    Etro Bistro Cuisine 

    There is always a tantalizing selection of dishes on offer at Etro Bisto and they have embraced their geographical location for the 2010 Spring/Summer menu.

    For a hearty breakfast, try the Madame Benedict (eggs with smoked salmon and hollandaise). For lunch, sample delights such as So Last Century Soup, Louis Panini, Ruby Red Pasta, Funky Fungi and Must Have Caesar. The have also introduced a new wine list so you are sure to find a drop to compliment your meal.

    On the other hand you could just drop in for a cup of coffee, a delicious cake and a little tete-a-tete. Either way you'll feel welcome and leave satisfied. Special requests are accommodated with regularity and such individual attention sets Etro Bistro apart from its contemporaries.
