Welcome to Sicilian Cafe, a true icon of Subiaco and one of the largest and most impressive restaurants in the area. Set in a fully restored 1915 Sheet Metal Work Factory, the Sicilian continues to maintain its reputation for high standards in service, food, premium wine, cocktails and superior coffee that it has done for decades.

The Restaurant  

The restaurant is in the heart of Subiaco next to the bustling intersection of Rokeby road and Hay Street, right next to the regal theatre. Sicilian Cafe has been crafted from a 1915 metal work factory and fully restored with an open floor plan, lofty ceilings and an earthy warm interior. It has a generic summer feel which creates a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Its just right for a cosy meal for two, or for entertaining mates with dinner and vino.

The chefs serve prompt, authentic, home-style Italian cuisine, which is delivered by their attentive wait staff who will make every effort to fulfill all of your expectations. The restaurant aims to continuously provide the best service possible, so please fill in a customer feedback card at the reception, so that they can look at different ways to improve.

Chef  

Italian head chef Tiziano Coltrinari was born and raised in Ancona, a small beach town located on the east coast of Italy. It is a region where culinary delicatessen draws upon the traditional spicy Southern flavours, and combines them with the finest recipes of the North. A third generation chef, he was raised with culinary knowledge since he was young. Continuing in his father's and grandfather's footsteps, Tiziano has been cooking at the Sicilian since May 2007 and will for many years to come.

The Cuisine  

Let Italian head chef Tiziano Coltrinari, tempt your tastebuds! There are wood fired pizzas and a great a la carte menu to indulge in. Full bar facilities are available with local beers and Stella on tap. There is also an extensive wine list to compliment your meal and for something special, try a delicious cocktail.
